Airbus Releases November Delivery Report

Airbus Releases November Delivery Report | Record Deliveries Needed in December to Meet 2025 Target

Airbus announced that it delivered 72 aircraft in November, bringing the total deliveries for the year to 657.

To meet its 2025 target of 790 aircraft, Airbus will need to deliver 133 aircraft in December. In October, Airbus delivered 78 aircraft, while 84 aircraft were delivered in November 2024.

The low delivery numbers also reflect a challenging week for Airbus, which announced quality issues with metal fuselage panels on some A320 family aircraft. This statement followed an urgent software update order issued by the company the previous week, affecting around 6,000 A320 family aircraft due to a bug.

On Wednesday, Airbus revised its annual commercial delivery target downward by 4%, now aiming for “around 790” aircraft, down from the previously targeted 820. However, the company stated that its financial targets remain unchanged.

Airbus also announced that it received 75 new orders in November, bringing the total for the year to 797 orders, with net orders after cancellations reaching 700. While Airbus has surpassed Boeing in terms of aircraft deliveries, it has lagged behind in new orders. As of the most recent data for the period from January to October, Boeing reported net 782 orders after cancellations.
